LIDAR
This is a LIDAR Image of "The World Trade Center" in Manhattan, New York. This 3D image was created following the September 11, 2002 terrorist attacks on this city and was used for research and as part of the recovery effort. LIDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) is an optical remote sensing technology that uses lasar instead of radio or microwave radiation to detect light particles.
