Standardized choropleth maps
This image is a Standardized choropleth map of Canada that shows the amount of children 14 years of age and younger. In this type of map, the data is divided typically in terms of land area or a related variable to allow comparison of the phenomenom. This image uses the shade and lightness of a green hue in direct relationship to a numeric value to graphically ilustrate the data.
